Trump legalized hemp in 2018. However, legislation just passed in Missouri that will shut down all CBD / hemp businesses and farmers in Missouri ... including our Missouri manufacturing facility.
Pharma + marijuana lobbyists have been pushing for this. This bill will eliminate competition and basically hands a monopoly to special interests. It's cleverly worded in a way that eliminates CBD from being accessible. This could be the last year these products exist in Missouri. The Missouri House just passed the bill (HB 2641) this week. If this passes the MO Senate, it becomes law.
Eight years ago, our brother returned from Afghanistan with severe injuries that destroyed his ability to function. Nothing else worked, so we began making CBD products for him. People like our brother will lose access to what has been helpful. Not to mention all the innovations happening with hemp fiber in Missouri will be shut down.
